**Roles & Responsibilities**

At BreakFast at Fluffy's, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional, cage-free care for our canine guests. We are seeking a knowledgeable and attentive Night Duty / Live-in Pet Care Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of our canine guests. Additionally, he or she will provide leadership within the team and contribute to the growth and success of our boutique hotel

**Operational Management in Pet Hotel**

1.Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

2. Ensure pet hotel complies with AVS's pet boarding license guidelines and ensure the hotel is superbly clean, organized, and well-maintained.

3. Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking products to minimize waste or shortages.

4. Manage staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.

**Team Leadership**

1. Recruit and train staff members on best practices in animal handling & care.

2. Conduct regular team meetings updates to discuss goals challenges.

3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.

4. Motivate team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales objectives.

**Client Relations**

1. Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

2. Educate pet owners on aspects of canine care, behavior, and nutrition.

**Carer and Welfare Advocator**

1. Monitor the health and well-being of all guests.

2. Work with veterinarians and industry partners to provide pet care advisory to the community.

**Sales and Marketing in Pet Hotel**

1. Develop and implement strategies to meet sales & corporate targets.

2. Grow social media presence and to engage with local community.

3. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

4. Plan & execute promotional campaigns & special events.

**Business Development**

1. Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability.

2. Analyse & recommend improvements for company's sales, inventory, and operational performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in dog handling and care, with a deep understanding of canine behavior.
- Knowledge of pet nutrition, healthcare, and medication administration.
- Previous experience in a pet boarding or veterinary facility preferred.
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during nighttime hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience within a team setting.
- Certification in pet first aid and CPR.
