**About the Role**:
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**

The incumbent is accountable for all deliverables by the Asia Development Medical Writing Team, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Lead and manage a team of internal Medical Writing employees.
- Define and execute strategies for recruitment of top talent.
- Create opportunities for development of capabilities and careers.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-TA improvement initiatives.
- Inspire and promote smart-risk taking based on informed decisions.
- Lead process improvement, training, quality, and compliance.
- Leverage digital tools to improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
- Provide representation for GSK in external regulatory requirements and process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the identification and engagement of third-party partners.

You’ll also need:

- At least a Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., life science, medical, pharmacy), preferred PharmD/PhD/MD in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical regulatory writing in the pharmaceutical industry, including leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in multicultural settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English with an agile and growth mindset.
- Strong understanding of the clinical development and regulatory landscapes of Japan and China.
