**SCRI**

The Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) is the national academic research organisation
dedicated to enhancing the standards of clinical research, and coordinating clinical trials. Our
mission is to spearhead and develop core capabilities, infrastructure and scientific leadership for
clinical research in Singapore. SCRI also works with the National Medical Research Council
(NMRC) to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) in implementing clinical trials policy and strategic
initiatives to support and develop clinical research competencies locally. In driving towards its
vision, SCRI collaborates with clinicians to enhance Singapore’s clinical research and strengthen
its expertise in executing multi-site, multi-national studies and the development of regional clinical
research networks.

**What you will be working on**

**The Role**:
You will work with a dynamic team to develop and implement commercial and strategic relationships

with organisations, as well as lead and oversee the development and maintenance of Clinical

Research Networks:
Develop and implement alliance strategy for SCRI, which includes identifying potential
partners and evaluating the feasibility of alliances, as well as negotiating and managing
partnership agreements

Establish and execute marketing strategy for SCRI’s target audience to achieve
engagement goals and desired outcomes

Responsible for driving collaboration between the company and its partners. This
includes identifying areas of mutual interest, facilitating joint projects, and ensuring a
win-win outcome from the partnership

Devise and execute a customer service orientated delivery in addressing general
enquiries

Provide leadership and guidance to the alliance management team to ensure the team
is supported to be successful. This includes setting team goals, providing feedback
and coaching, and fostering a positive work environment

Develop and implement strategy to transform and grow SCRI’s existing Clinical
Research Network (CRN) support

Identify potential principal investigators and/or partners and evaluating the feasibility of
network creation as well as negotiating and managing partnership agreements

Participate in crafting and establishing the network(s)’s governance, constitutional policy
and any other infrastructural activities/documents

Lead and manage the CRN team, maintain and support CRN(s), ensuring all networks
are operating at peak performance. This includes monitoring network activity and making
necessary recommendations for improvement to the network

**What we are looking for**

Degree in Life sciences/Healthcare/Pharmacy or related fields. Degree in business,
marketing or related fields may be considered should there be prior experience in the
health and biomedical sciences research and/or clinical services

7-10+ years of experience in alliance management, partnership development, or a
related field with proven experience in customer service as well as negotiating and
managing complex partnerships and alliances

Prior experience in the health and biomedical sciences research and/or clinical services
preferred

Experience in managing a team, with ability to provide leadership, guidance and
mentoring to team members

Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to partnerships and alliances
