**Description**

Objectives of the Position:

- Responsible in shaping the strategic development of global distribution to optimize the structure within Human Nutrition (ENH) Globally.
- To drive distribution management and excellence within ENH Globally.
- Accountable and responsible for the financial and non-financial targets set for the role.
- Contribute insight to the strategic development and operational management of 3rd party distributors.

**Responsibilities**:
Distribution Management
- In conjunction with HoD, develop and execute the Distribution Management go-to market strategy
- Ensure communication and understanding of the strategic plan.
- Deploy a strong consultative selling approach to identify the market challenges and develop value creating solution to drive engagement
- Build and maintain strategic relationships, ensuring that our mutual business objectives are understood and achieved by our distribution partners.
- Motive, inspire and develop engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational management to drive distributors to profitability focus and optimize cost to serve.

Management of Information
- Gather, consolidate, analyze and share performance review to ensure realization of the financial and non-financial targets with stakeholders.

Business Planning/Process Management
- Ensure the agreed framework of business review with immediate, mid
- and future
- business using shared tool being operational.
- Drive behaviors towards strategic engagement and value creation with distribution partners.

Compliance and Internal Policies
- Implement and comply to BASF Code of Conduct and BPDD
- Operate in accordance with all legal requirements and external regulations

Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders in order to support and challenge stakeholders regarding their understanding of market developments, and the suitability, resource adequacy, and execution of their plans
- Ensure clear stakeholder management in place to engage businesses

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales/ business.
- Minimum 5 years of direct distributor management experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High level of business acumen with quick response time
- Agile and adaptable to changes in business environment with global mindset.
