**Core Responsibilities**- Drive operations excellence ensuring Distribution performance measures are on-track. Among these critical metrics are DC capacity target (storage, inbound/outbound efficiency, including any valuable services required to serve our customers in the market), OTIF, RDC to LDC on time vs agreed lead time and distribution cost are within budget- Provides governance towards our appointed 3PL, ensuring performance vs. service level agreement (SLA) and follows LEGO standards- Partner with Procurement team to ensure supplier service meets business requirements and find opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide regular feedback on how the 3PL is performing vs SLA and suggestions for improvements of supplier partnership- Collaborate closely with other functions in SCO (e.g., Customer Logistics, Supply & Inventory Planning, Supply Chain development) including Finance to meet service, cost, and inventory objectives for APAC CH- Manage partners in the BU ensuring that, Distribution fulfills business requirements and, that day to day operations enable sales and service to customers

**How and estimated time split**- 50% - Operations management (critical metric reviews, issue resolution, conduct learning reviews, and share the best methodologies to broader team)- 20% - Collaborator management (Communicate and provide access to BU’s on key success/es as well as challenges, understand changes in business requirements, seek alignment on resource needs and/or work process improvement)- 20% - Deliver supply chain projects and or/continuous improvements through multifunctional collaboration (BU, SCO, Procurement, and with different logistics suppliers)- 10% - Continuous learning for self-development; actively engage horizontal process network/s for the region

The role is part of APAC & CN Distribution team which is responsible for bringing products from manufacturing via distribution footprint to the hands of customers and consumers.

The Distribution manager role is critical to enable the physical flow of goods from regional DC to our local DC’s and eventually, to our customers (and consumers) ensuring that LEGO products are on time, in full (vs sales order), and received in good quality.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, APAC Distribution.

**Do you have what it takes**:
- BSC degree as minimum, preferably with Engineering or Operations and Supply Chain Management background.- Certification in LEAN thinking or Six Sigma methodology, and Project management would be a plus- Min 5 years’ experience within Logistics and Distribution in APAC and working with Logistics and Distribution for leading FMCG/Consumer Goods/Luxury brands- Demonstrated knowledge in Distribution operations and solid experience in handling 3PL’s- Proven track record of delivering results through teamwork and collaboration, with strong communication, and leadership skills- Ability to work under pressure- Demonstrated experience in managing senior level collaborators, working in a diverse and multi-functional working environment- Team oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and able to manage assigned responsibilities independently- Strong problem-solving skills, experienced in mining insights from various data sources, and strong presentation skills- Past experience demonstrating success in project management would be a plus- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with colleagues and stakeholders- Thrives in an organization under continuous development and strong growth- Self-driven, proactive character and capable to impact the organization by own initiative
