Founded by veterans from Citadel and Jump Trading, the team boasts a unique blend of deep financial acumen and innovative blockchain expertise.

**Role Overview**:The Institutional Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving institutional adoption of the DEX. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, trading firms, market makers, and liquidity providers. The role requires a deep understanding of crypto trading, DeFi market structures, and institutional needs in the rapidly evolving blockchain space.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Business Development**:Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to onboard institutional clients, ensuring increased trading volume and liquidity on the platform.
- **Client Relationship Management**:Build and manage relationships with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, and market makers.
- **Partnerships & Integrations**:Identify key opportunities for partnerships, including integrations with institutional trading platforms, custody solutions, and liquidity providers.
- **Cross-Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to tailor offerings to institutional clients.
- **Market Research & Competitive Analysis**:Conduct market research and competitive analysis to position the DEX effectively in the institutional landscape.
- **Industry Representation**:Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand recognition and thought leadership.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management considerations in institutional engagements.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in business development, institutional sales, or partnerships within crypto, trading, or financial markets.
- Strong network of institutional contacts, particularly within the crypto and trading industry.
- Deep understanding of DeFi, on-chain liquidity, and institutional trading strategies.
- Experience working with APIs, trading platforms, and blockchain-based financial products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and work independently.
- Passion for DeFi and blockchain technology, with a strong belief in decentralized finance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience at a crypto exchange, market maker, or institutional trading firm.
- Familiarity with smart contracts, Layer 2 solutions, and decentralized governance.Understanding of regulatory considerations in institutional crypto trading.
