**Commodities Broker**

We are looking for a **Commodities Broker **who is capable and enthusiastic about a role that requires proactive communication skills, good office management capabilities, and an appetite for teamwork, working with managers in supporting the business.

As the **Commodities Broker **, you are responsible for the sales activities. You will also assist in gathering market information and knowledge to share and support the decision making/business strategies of the team and management. This role will provide a great stepping stone in your career, you will gain valuable knowledge and skills as you build towards a more Trading Management role.

We are a small entity but part of a listed organization in Japan. We work with clients throughout the Asia Pacific on feed ingredients and agri-commodities. The company has committed to a growth plan of expanding its product portfolio in the next 3 to 5 years and to support our growth strategy, we have created this new role to join us on a full-time basis. **Sales Role**
- Manage and achieve sales targets of animal feed raw materials into Southeast Asia
- Create strong relationships with customers with constant communication and follow ups by increasing trade activities
- Develop new customer network, actively searching for new customers to increase sales activities
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned

**Trade Role**
- Prepare and track trade reports and records
- Work closely with operational team to ensure smooth logistic/end to end supply chain of your sales activities
- Assist in handling shipping coordination with suppliers, buyers, shipbrokers, ship owners/agents, surveyors, insurers & etc. to ensure smooth loading and shipping
- Provide support on any other ad-hoc operational activities

**Soft Skill**

**Technical Competency**
- Microsoft suite knowledge
- Good understanding of international payment term and shipping procedure

**Education**:

- Advanced Diploma or equivalent
