TAssociate Director for Bid leads a team of bid managers to support GAM, SGO and Carriers Sales by managing end-to-end bid process to optimize revenue and margin. You also provides guidance to team members on best practices in managing bids within Singtel Group Enterprise Business.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage end-to-end bidding pursuit process. Be the overall-in-charge of RFP document development, preparation and to ensure high quality proposals are submitted on time.
- To perform effective engagement with bid stakeholders, customers, overseas offices and partners for bid submission.
- Work closely with Sales to understand customers’ requirements and business environment in order to formulate bid win strategies and value proposition for proposals.
- Manage and negotiate with partners and vendors on commitments and commercial terms.
- Ensure bid proposals adhere to finance and legal guidelines; Manage risk log and mitigation plan
- Work with Pricing Manager to ensure proposed pricing is in line with overall bid strategy, establish pricing structure that meets business/corporate target margins and have gained internal approvals for customer submission.
- Perform bid presentation and contract negotiation with customers.
- Response to customer contract and commercial matters
- Provide bid guidance, career planning and development for junior Bid Managers within the team
- Take on leadership in overseeing the operations and service of ‘Bid Desk’, a virtual Bid Management services, providing lite version of bid support for account team who are driving bids without Bid management assignment. Support includes proposal templates, collaterals, corporate information, product and organisation accreditations certification and write-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain up-to-date materials for external consumptions in proposals, presentations, and commercial contracts.
- Actively work with Directors and HOD in updating and enhancing departmental/ bid process in alignment to industry best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Marketing, Business studies, Engineering or Economics
- Minimum 10 year working experiences Bid management experience within telecommunication or ICT industry
- Experienced peope manager, who is able to lead and manage a team of direct and outsourced resource
- Financial Analysis and Modelling knowledge with strong analytical skills with ability to understand and interpret data as well as being able to present data in a compelling manner
- Commercial, financial, business acumen and contract negotiation skills
