The Position

The JFK Vice President will lead all aspects of our airport program at Terminals 1 & 8. This position is accountable for overseeing all management, operation, and KPIs for the URW JFK Airports Program. The VP will work closely with URW’s clients, American Airlines, The Port Authority of NY & NJ and New Terminal One (NTO) to ensure their business needs are met. Reporting to the CEO Airports, this position will work with and manage the various Airport and Development projects happening at T1 & T8.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- In close coordination with the development team, ensure successful implementation of the T8 and T1 projects.
- Full ownership of the P&L and business activities of the JFK business; with the scope increasing as we win additional business in the East region
- Achieving/exceeding the full 5YBP over the plan with a focus on all 5 years, organizing contributions of all internal departments
- Proactively drive priorities to improve EBITDA.
- Ensure excellent customer experience.
- Continuously develop new opportunities for growing revenue
- Follow up and challenge all operating expenses and capital expenditures, while allowing for a high-quality customer experience
- Prepare, suggest and follow through on all major CAPEX in accordance with compliance. ROI/IRR calculations, risk assessments, and corporate approvals/presentations
- Ensure focus on operational excellence with clear tangible initiatives and an accountability model to provide an exceptional service to the passengers; and to our clients.
- Ownership of all relationships in JFK including: AA, Port NY&NJ, NTO

Strategy definition
- Defines, develops and delivers the long term strategic direction for JFK and potential new businesses in the East costs
- Holds a strategic view and the vision on the asset and a deep understanding of the market.
- Ensure execution based on the agree strategic direction of the organization.

Project delivery
- Acts as an owner of his/her portfolio of assets
- Coach and mentor members of the asset teams to strengthen to team and build bench strength in the organization.
- Develops, trains and delegates and sets the priorities for Operating Analysts and Operating Managers where appropriate.

Other
- Is an ambassador for the portfolio internally and externally (vs. local authorities, business communities and networks)
- Work with the Business Development team to grow the business on the East coast
- Recruit and develop a high-performing team and assist with leadership/recruiting for asset team members where appropriate

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business - MBA preferred
- 12-15 years of experience in managing a business with a full ownership of a P&L
- Experience on large complex projects
- Experience in the Airport industry or the Retail industry
- Knowledge or strong interest of the Retail Industry
- Track record in building relationships in a complex environment
