**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high caliber professional to join Citco’s AML/CDD Team as we continue to invest in our Singapore office. The AML/CDD SVP, in conjunction with regional AML/CDD EVP, is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the local AML/CDD Team and AML control framework within which the firm should operate.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- You will demonstrate an ability to take on a multi-faceted role, leading and managing an AML/CDD team and delivery high quality service to our clients.
- You will coach, develop and provide guidance to local AML team while creating an environment that motivates, rewards, and supports the team.
- You will encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalate where appropriate.
- You will communicate Citco’s organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals.
- You will provide oversight to and act as an escalation point for the local AML team that their day-to-day duties are completed accurately, timely and mitigate against risk.
- You will support the team to ensure that projects are planned, coordinated and seen through to completion.
- You will play a key part in global and local initiatives interacting with other Citco global offices and technology groups and stay abreast of emerging financial crime trends including developments in technology/reg tech.
- You will maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and remain apprised of regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- You will develop strong working relationships with Clients, MLRO’s, shareholders, regulators, auditors and other external and internal parties as required, acting as primary point of escalation.
- You will interact directly with senior business management in a decision-making capacity in Singapore (and other applicable jurisdictions as applicable).

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 8-10 years AML related work experience in a financial services institution, preferably Funds Industry;
- Excellent knowledge of AML Regulations and AML practice in Singapore and other jurisdictions such as Cayman Islands;
- Expertise and understanding of the Transfer Agency business and client servicing.
- Knowledge of regulations impacting the financial services
- AML, Compliance or other relevant qualification an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with superior communication skills (oral and written) with an ability to influence / persuade.
