**Head, Communications and Engagement**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Work with ED and stakeholders to conceptualise and execute communications and engagement plans (both internal and external comms) in support of IJHCC key focus areas, in particular change from “IJHCC” to “CHIJ Sanctuary for Children” which will be the main priority for the next 6 months.
- Generating, promoting and increasing the awareness of the social mission and causes of IJHCC, its image, visibility and awareness (i.e. programmes and services).
- Content creation and distribution - develop, write, edit and product contact to engage and educate public/stakeholders various channels, incl. newsletter, website, social media and marketing collaterals.
- Oversee production of collaterals, incl. annual report, factsheet, boilerplate, service brochures, newsletters, videos and materials related to IJHCC.
- Track and regularly assess ROI on effectiveness of media campaigns or outreach activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. Student Care Services / Programmes and Services) for planning, organising and executing of community outreach programmes and special events (involving Board members, Special Guests, VIPs) - events management.
- Implement a media communication policy to help the Board and Management build positive relationships with the media and the public. (Code of Governance Principle 6)
- Lead, develop and execute strategies for fund-raising/campaigns.
- Support Board / Committees where needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Communications
- At least 3-5 years in similar capacity, preferably working experiences in a charity/non-profit environment.
- Prior experience in communications or campaigns will be an advantage.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as providing guidance to team members and across teams.
- Adaptable and enjoys engaging different stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Good media / PR networks preferred.
