Singapore JERA LNG PORTFOLIO STRATEGY PTE. LTD. Full time

**Key Responsibilities**
- As specialist in energy market analysis, support negotiations, consideration of the establishment of the LNG strategy and the executive decision-making process by providing comprehensive market analysis.
- Collect appropriate market data in a timely manner from various sources in/out of Japan/Singapore and create comprehensive market analysis in collaboration with other members in the market analysis team, delivering reports to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the Japan HQ.
- Assess and evaluate LNG contract terms such as volume, flexibility, and specifications during negotiation and decision making process by communicating with the relevant entities within the company group. Take into account potential risks and opportunities, considering the technical and operational characteristics and constraints of the company's terminal, storage facilities and shipping fleet.
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders, both within and outside of the company, regarding forecasts of the global energy market. Contribute to enhancing the organization's analytical capabilities through these discussions and support establishing the company's LNG portfolio strategy.

**Qualifications/Skills Required**
- Expert in data collection, analysis, and efficient report development/presentation skill to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the Japan HQ.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Science, Engineering or related fields.
- Business-level Japanese for written communication with Japanese stakeholders locally and at Japan HQ.
- 8 to 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 4 to 5 years in LNG contracting or LNG price reviews. Clear Understanding of the negotiation arguments and how to drive pricing analysis to support them.
- Prior experience in supporting the establishment of the company’s strategy. Tenure in energy business planning and/or strong understanding of the Japanese domestic energy market.
- Deep understanding of LNG operations and optimisation and the experience of the quantitative assessment of the operational terms.
