**Position Summary**

Supports key Customers and Prospects through direct consultation of best programming

Aerotech programming interfaces.

**Essential Functions**
- Review customer requirements and provide recommendations on programming strategies

and, when required, develop solutions using Aerotech supported programming interfaces

such as Aerobasic,.NET (C#), MATLAB and LabVIEW.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Advanced knowledge of motion controllers and their capabilities. Extensive software

development history with proficiency in multiple languages is an acceptable alternative to

direct Aerotech programming experience.
- Working knowledge in a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to engineering
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to question from managers, clients,

customers and colleagues
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision

technical plans, drawings and models
- Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate well with a variety of people; excellent written and verbal

communication skills
- Good organization skills and attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Engineering
- At least three years of related experience

**Working Conditions / Physical Requirements**
- Work is generally performed in an office environment
- May be required to sit for extended periods of time
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
