Our client is a SGX-listed company with principal activities in hospitality and also one of the world’s leading and porminent hotel and resort brand. They are looking for an e-Commerce IT Manager to oversee the e-commerce portfolio across all brands at the group level.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of e-Commerce, this position is a central lead for IT strategy and management across the entire E-Commerce ecosystem.
This role will be a key enabler in shaping e-Commerce IT transformation within the organization and driving the robustness and security of the e-Commerce ecosystem.
- Responsibilities include: _
- Oversee e-Commerce architecture, optimize processes and ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Infrastructure set up, monitoring and management in the areas of hosting and server management, CDN, SSL certifications, backup and disaster management etc.
- Website performance monitoring and optimization Website security management and compliance.
- Handle all technical aspects of project management such as stakeholder/vendor management for technical matters, software documentation such as SDD etc.
- Platform expertise for all e-Commerce platforms used.
- Manage website enhancements for various websites and support in technical aspects of bug fixes, integrations etc as required.
- Technical SEO management required.
- Domain monitoring and management.
**Your Profile**
- Minimum 7 years of e-Commerce IT experience in B2C environments, preferably from hospitality industry or other complex industries.
- Experience with managing multiple geographies ideal, with China market as a major plus.
- Solid experience in managing e-Commerce ecosystems such as servers, CDN, payment gateways, DAM, PIM etc.
- Experience with Akamai, AWS ad Acquia ideal.
- High level of proficiency in IT project management.
- Programming knowledge such as Javascript, HTML/CSS, SQL etc.
- Experience with comprehensive website performance monitoring management and tools required.
- Experience across various Content Management Systems, e-Commerce platforms and analytics tools such as Drupal, Webflow, WordPress, Google Analytics, Shopify etc.
- Technical SEO knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task and work in changing environments.
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness and a can-do mindset.
