**Function objective**:
Supports the Chartering Manager/Charterer in performing the chartering and marketing activities of the respective Offshore Support Vessel fleet in such a manner that the highest possible net trading result is achieved.

**Generic responsibilities and tasks**
- Is responsible for maintaining up-to-date vessel datasheets for website and marketing purposes.
- Supports with the preparation and implementation of commercial policies, charter parties and charter recap.
- Is responsible for preparing (potential) customer visit plans, therefore:

- prepares (potential) customer visit plans;
- assists in preparing marketing information and presentations;
- assists in creating market overview/competitor overviews;
- assists in preparing tenders/tender documentation.
- Maintains and improves good business relationships with customers, therefore:

- assists in preparing customer reviews.
- Ensures that hire/freight invoices are issued and paid in accordance with the contract;
- Ensures that all other expenses and recoverables are administered in the Voyage Operations System in cooperation with the Operations and Accounting Department;
- Ensures that provisions for any claims/ by debts are administered in the Voyage Operations System in cooperation with the Operations, Accounting and Claims department;
- Performs any other responsibilities and tasks assigned to him by the Management, therefore - amongst others -:

- assists in creating weekly reporting;
- assists in establishing annually short
- and medium term

(commercial) planning and budgets in co-operation with other

departments;
- assists in checking invoices for charters before these are

approved by the Chartering Manager;
- assists in negotiating and concluding charters for the

respective fleet and, when appropriate, assists in chartering

vessels in for specific cargoes, projects and charters.

**Function requirements**
- Minimum educational level: _
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree Maritime studies/Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum experience: _
- Preferably 5 years work experience in a similar (marine) position.
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: _
- Ambitious; to commence with ICS studies within 6 months after start;
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local language(s) as required;
- Excellent reporting skills;
- Commercial attitude, 24/7 mentality and good analytical skills.
