**THE OPPORTUNITY**

MMA has an exciting opportunity for a Chartering Executive to join our Commercial division.

We are on the lookout for a motivated and ambitious individual that is looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Chartering - Asia, this role will be to work with the Commercial Team to support the chartering and tendering team in tenders and contract preparation.

The role will also act as the main interface between the Commercial, Legal and Operations and Technical departments for the development of technically, commercially, and contractually comprehensive submissions, and client interactions.

This is a permanent full-time position based in our Singapore Office.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be external client point of contact for enquiries, tenders and contracts, as well as internal departments during pre and post fixtures
- Assist Chartering Manager and Tender team in preparation and submission of quotations and tenders in a timely manner
- Ensure Commercial and tender responses are discussed and approved in line with the submission timelines
- Maintain contract register in intranet and upload contracts
- Support in the preparation of quotations/pricing indications
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to oversee pending charters.
- Fully understand tender requirements in the tender submissions, and ensure relevant operational personnel, where required, are aware of vessel commitments to allow adequate planning of operations.
- Ownership of accounts and start to end management
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of how MMA Offshore operates within its core industries, and maintain an understanding of relevant technology advances within these industries
- Be responsible for the roles carried out by the Chartering Manager in a relief capacity where required

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Basic understanding of the maritime industry and oil & gas market
- Diploma or degree in Maritime/Business/Marketing or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience or in relevant chartering and tender coordination role, preferably in the maritime services sector
- Will provide necessary training
- Positive/go-getter attitude and willingness to learn
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work well with others in a fast-paced working environment
- Able to multi-task and being extremely organized
- Able to work independently and as a team
