**OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE**:
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Co-Founders and the Management Board, the Brand Manager will be responsible for the oversight of Else and its in-house brands of business. This includes participating in brand development, driving marketing strategies, and overseeing its communication delivery through the expert use of internal resources and in-market agencies. You will be tasked with driving the brand’s narratives and evaluating our initiatives holistically, through the lenses of financial ROI, brand equity development and channel growth.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Brand Custodian _
- Drive and develop narratives to increase awareness and equity for the brands.
- Ensure that all brands under our portfolio are consistently measured and assessed by the best in-class tools and industry trends and/or thinking, initiate market research and analyze research findings.
- Refine and guide the development of strong brand awareness within the organization.
- Oversee and ensure that all brand collaterals are produced in a timely manner and with the highest quality possibly made within budget.
- Lead formulation and execution of brand and marketing strategy quarterly with a collective determined ROI targets. Identify challenges and/or business opportunities to tend and guide the brands’ growth in alignment with the Co-Founders.
- Marketing Gatekeeper _
- Create and drive brand equity growth-based campaigns for brands.
- Develop rigorous processes to measure and track growth and efforts of the business (ROI).
- Identify and negotiate partnership that translate into measurable value to revenue and brand equity.
- Act as turnkey to ensure peak performance by in-market teams (Marketing Manager) and agencies in delivering Else's core messages optimally, regardless of whether this is through traditional or social media channels. Work together with the Co-founders to ensure that Else's developmental roadmaps are laid out and executed successfully.
- Leader _
- In the course of your work, you may be asked to work with internal/external teams and stakeholders.
- Internally, you will be tasked with managing the output and deliverables of our in-house marketing team.
- Externally, you will be tasked with collaborating with our teams that are executing the day-to-day operations of our brand.
- With Stakeholders, you will be required to ensure that stakeholder concerns are addressed and that the brand message and delivery is not compromised.
- Demonstrate grit and the ability to persevere in an environment with a lot of uncertainty due to the differences in markets, cultures and tight deadlines that come with working on brands with a global footprint.
- Promote the company’s business by conducting work assignments with a positive attitude and professional manner.
- After setting and implementing the project timeline, the expectation is that campaign and launch deadlines are strictly met on time, on budget and with the right messaging. Regional travel required as and when needed.
- Brand Equity Growth _
- Responsible for setting channel analytics and accountability.
- Developing and executing on marketing and social media plans for each brand internationally. Demonstrate a high degree of business acumen in the development of products within the brand portfolio.
- Manuals, Checklists, Documentation _
- Standardization and implementation of company brand material, including social media, marketing guidelines and any other such material as required to support the scaling up of Else's presence. Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.
**ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Marketing or its equivalent.
- Preferably 3-5 years of similar working experience.
- Proven track records of successful brands management portfolio.
- Able to strive in a fast-paced, result oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines.
- Able to work independently and leads others to achieve challenging results.
- Exudes self-confidence and possess excellent presentation, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail in composing, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Possess a positive and cheerful attitude with strong resilience and commitment in overcoming challenges to achieve required results.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
