Regional Marketing and Communication Specialist

Location: Southeast Asia (based near a Gericke office preferred)

Collaborates with: Group Marketing & Communication Team (Gericke Group, Switzerland)

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a Regional Marketing and Communication Specialist to strengthen Gericke’s presence across Southeast Asia. This role blends technical marketing, communications, and event coordination with both global branding standards and local cultural adaptation. It is a dynamic, hands-on role suited for someone with industrial B2B marketing experience who thrives in both digital and face-to-face environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Marketing & Sales Support**
- Drive regional branding, outreach, and content localization.
- Develop and execute campaigns tailored to different SEA markets.
- Translate complex engineering and powder handling concepts into compelling marketing stories.
- Create high-impact content (e.g. web content, social posts, videos).
- Manage social media and digital content (including website updates).
- Overlook CRM data quality and support lead generation.

**Events & Communication**
- Organize exhibitions, seminars, webinars, customer events, and on-site visits (including venue scouting, catering, and promotion).
- Collaborate with local sales teams to increase leads and sales volume.
- Support spare part and service concept promotion.
- Moderate and gather testimonials, videos, and photos of installed systems.
- Maintain the reference project database.

**Performance & PR**
- Coordinate media contacts and PR activities.
- Measure marketing effectiveness via KPIs and reporting.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication across digital and
non-digital platforms.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Gericke Group.

**Collaboration & Culture**
- Work with partners and industry associations to enhance visibility.
- Maintain alignment with group marketing in Switzerland.
- Adapt messaging to fit local languages, customs, and industry norms across SEA.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, industrial branding, or event coordination.
- Demonstrated experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Experience in organizing technical or industry events.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia.

**Preferred**
- Proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay).
- Knowledge of design and marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot).
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related technical field.
