Join our CareKids family as a Programme Coordinator to provide caregiving and nurture children to bloom where they’re planted in our school-based student care centres Currently positioned at Eunos, Jiemin, New Town, and Stamford primary schools and fondly referred to as ‘CareHuts’, we practice the ABCs in the work we do with children:
**A** love and energy for working with them; caring for their well-being and social-emotional needs.
**B**elieving each moment spent is influential and we can speak love, discipline and life into their lives
**C**reating a safe and nurturing environment they can call their ‘second home’.
You will be an impact and positive role model in the lives of primary school children (P1-P6), through the ABCs and support their holistic development with healthy routines, creative fun programmes and events throughout the year
- Provide supervision and guidance to primary school children (7-14 years old) after school
- Plan and conduct after school activities that will nurture children and help them discover their potential (e.g. character development and fun-learning programmes)
- Execute the programmes and activities provided by the CareHut.
- Guide the children in their behaviours through positive discipline and mentorship
- Support the holistic development of the children with programmes and events during school holidays
- Ensure safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Perform Centre administration and other ad-hoc projects and/or administration as assigned by the Centre Supervisor
**Job Requirements**:
- Passionate in reaching out to and empowering children, especially those from the disadvantaged background
- Must love children yet be able to be firm and patient
- Work independently with less supervision
- Enjoy working in a high-energy & dynamic environment
- Able to work 6 hours during school term and 8 hours during school holidays (March, June, September and December)
- Able to converse with students in English
- Possess at least GCE “O” Level certification
