Business Planning Manager, Wrb CEO

This is a Multi-Location role, it can be performed out of any of the below two locations
- Primary: Singapore
Secondary: Hongkong

**JOB SUMMARY**
- The Business Planning Manager (BPM), WRB CEO, reports to the WRB Chief of Staff and as part of the WRB CEO Office, provides support in areas such as strategy, performance management, communications, project management, event management, and governance. This is a hands-on role which involves close collaboration with the WRB Management Team and stakeholders across our markets, to support execution of WRB near-term priorities as well as longer-term strategy. The BPM needs to display strong business acumen, a deep understanding of the WRB landscape in our key markets, strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, as well as an ability to think independently and prioritise.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**General**
- Support the WRB Chief of Staff to manage agendas for WRB Management Team meetings, ensuring meeting materials are submitted on time and decisions and actions are documented and tracked to completion.
- Organise overseas visits in collaboration with local offices and coordinate logístical matters as required.
- Organise global WRB townhalls, leadership huddles and leadership meetings including offsites, driving alignment of shared objectives across business and functions.
- Prepare briefing notes, speaking notes and supplementary research ahead of key meetings.
- Undertake specific business projects and ad-hoc requests as they arise day-to-day, in areas such as costs, transformation, culture and employee volunteering

**Communications**
- Support the WRB CEO communications agenda, working with CABM on development and execution to ensure effective communication of key messages across WRB business and functions.
- Prepare speaking notes and presentation materials for internal and external speaking engagements.

**External Relationships**
- Ensure the WRB CEO is well prepared for meetings with regulators, government officials, investors, clients, auditors, as required.

**People and Talent**
- Work with HR Business Partner/team to incorporate WRB people agenda into townhalls and overseas visits.
- Support talent, conduct, culture, and diversity & inclusion initiatives in WRB

**Governance and Risk Management**
- Ensure relevant risks and/or issues are brought to the attention of the WRB Chief of Staff
- Support WRB risk governance tasks, such as risk papers, corporate plan risk challenge
- Support all governance and remediation related activities and ensure proper compliance
- Manage and upkeep WRB Management Team collaborative sites and distribution lists

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Support the WRB CEO’s additional remit or responsibilities e.g. CEO, GCNA; Lifting Participation MT co-sponsor; Global D&I Council Chair
- Support the WRB Chief of Staff in driving special projects as needed

- Strong business acumen and experienced navigator of the organisation, with a good understanding of WRB business and market landscape, especially in our largest markets
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset, to influence and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability and willingness to take a hands-on approach to getting things done, proactiveness, and ability to anticipate requirements
- Ability to problem-solve and handle ambiguity, including flexibility to adapt to changes and peaks in workload at short notice
- Ability to prioritise and balance between work on broad strategic projects and day-to-day process-oriented tasks
- Expert communication skills - oral, written and visual. Excellent command of English. Fluency in a second language is an advantage
- Inquisitive mind with the ability to structure, organise or simplify complex information
- Domain knowledge and expertise in Risk or Finance is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with GCNA banking and regulatory landscape is an advantage
- Experience with event management is an advantage
