**What the role is**

SENIOR MANAGER, OPERATIONS AND CONTINGENCY PLANNING

**What you will be working on**

You will lead a team in developing contingency policies and plans to deal with evolving Land Transport environment, and update existing Peacetime Contingency Operations Plans and procedures. During crisis, you will be part of the Crisis Management Team to support to Chief of Transport Operations to deal with the situation and execute the response operations for LTA. Internally, you will work with other LTA divisions to provide land transport emergency response inputs to external agencies. You will liaise with Public Transport Operators to review their peacetime emergency response plans and to update them on latest peacetime emergency response guidelines. In addition, you will liaise with Government agencies in the development and updating of various land transport emergency plans, environmental related crisis plans and pandemic outbreak related response plans. Beyond all these, you will perform other administrative tasks such as management of fixed assets and budget within the Division.

**What we are looking for**

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in any discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in Emergency Preparedness / Incident Management, with 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Prior experience of at least 2 years in a senior operations planning or operational role in enforcement, security and/ or defence industry is preferred
- Experience in the regulation and operations of public transport or related systems would be an advantage
- Decisive with the ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure and tight timeline
- Highly-motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently and in groups
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of working in a time critical environment is essential
- Have a good command of spoken and written English
- Experience or accreditation in Assets and Budget Management will be an advantage
