A International Energy & Commodity Trading company wants to hire a Oil Originator to focus on managing and build crude oil and condensate flows into the APAC region. The company is well capitalized and has a strong track record on building upstream flows and then building a logistics business around them flows. They now want to hire somebody who can manage any equity flows into the region with end users, Oil majors, and also originate deals across the crude oil complex, specifically across upstream

**Responsibilities**:
Origination, structuring, negotiating and executing sales of crude oil and refined products across the Asian markets with a main focus on the Chinese market.

Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on profitable trading opportunities.

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contract structures with suppliers and customers to optimize trading outcomes on behalf of the company globally. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while protecting the company's interests.

Collaborate with the global leadership team to develop and implement effective trading strategies to optimize the procurement and sale of Asian crude oil and refined products.

Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers & sellers, including national oil companies, refineries and other market participants.

Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including price forecasting, supply-demand analysis, and competitor analysis, to anticipate market trends and opportunities. Stay abreast of industry news, regulatory changes, and geopolitical developments that may impact trading activities.

Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with trading activities, including market volatility, credit risk, and operational risks.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.

Successful track record in physical oil marketing/trading, specifically in the Asian crude oil and refined products markets.

In-depth knowledge of Asian energy markets, including supply sources, pricing mechanisms, and market participants.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and make informed trading decisions.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Fluent Mandarin & English preferred
