**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactive outbound communications
- Reactive Inbound communications
- Responsible for trouble shooting complex customer problems, inquiries / service requests
- Respond to Requests for proposals / quotes, regional referrals, blanket order requests, large order pricing / discounting etc.
- Interdepartmental integration
- Probing of customer / prospect needs in order uncover sales opportunities
- Responsible for the promotion of products and services
- Responsible for retaining sales in assigned accounts
- Development and implementation of Account Plans /campaigns to identify additional business with past purchasers as well as new accounts in order to penetrate accounts and secure greater share of customers supply needs
- Coordinate and execute special product offerings working in conjunction with the product managers to increase sales and vendor support
- Complete all deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Attend regular ongoing sales and product training
- Resolve all customer issues in a timely manner
- Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers, attend and participate in relevant trade shows.
- Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
- Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, budgets, and all other reports as requested by Company, Customers and Suppliers.
