A Management Trainee is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. Their duties include hiring and training restaurant staff following company policies, speaking with diners to address concerns or solve problems and creating work schedules for restaurant staff.
- Specific Responsibilities:
1.Trainee will be able to coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations, and able to deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
2.Trainee will be able to Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations, organize and supervise shifts, and able to appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
3.Trainee will also be able to estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products, and able to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
4.Trainee will be able to respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, trainee will also be able to regularly review product quality and research new vendors
5.Trainee will be able to create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses, And able to promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, and able to recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
6. Trainee will be able to manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it and able to control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

2.Implementing of policies and protocols, supervising and staff appraisal skills

3.Overseeing the future needs for goods and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

4.Efficiency of handling customer complaints and research of new vendors

5.Detailed reporting and promotion of brand in local community. A great mindset to consistently recommend ways to reach a broader audience.

6.Management efficiency and proactive mindset to improve restaurant standards

Education Qualifications Required for the Role:
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree and above Qualification. Mid-career individuals with A level can apply.
