**Job Purpose**:
To provide human capital development (HCD) support to Kumon business in Singapore, as well as the Asia and Oceania region. Through effective collaboration and partnership, you will help to develop and deliver learning and development solutions to advance our employees’ professional growth to support our organisation’s corporate plan.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Support the offices in the region in their implementation and management of competency-based performance management system
- Contribute towards supporting the HR & HCD teams in the region and adding value to their human capital development solutions
- Partner the local line managers to create and execute appropriate development / learning solutions and programmes to meet the professional growth and development needs of our workforce
- Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees
- Develop training programs to meet employees’ learning needs to enhance job competencies
- Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
- Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
- Assesses training materials prepared by trainers
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
- Prepare and implement training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses
**Additional Tasks & Responsibilities (if applicable)**:
- As part of the HR & HCD Division, work as a team to support HR initiatives when needed
**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**:
- Knowledge and experience in competency-based performance management is preferred
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
- Team player and able to engage and build rapport with at different levels of employees and vendors
- Self-motivated, adaptable
**Credentials and Experience**:
- Possess a recognized bachelor’s degree
- Min 3 years of experience in learning & development
