
Senior Visitor Relationship Officer

The role of the Senior Visitor Relations Officer (SVRO) is to lead and manage the team of Visitor Relations Officers (VROs). The SVRO shall also perform the role ofa docent when required.
**The scope of the SVRO**:
i. Plan and schedule monthly roster of VRO and Gallery Management Officer (GMO)
ii. Conduct daily safety briefings to all VROs
iii. Draw and return the keys to the Information Counter daily
iv. Open and close the Information Counter and SSG daily
v. Disseminates information on updated exhibits and/or tourguiding scripts to VROs
vi. Conduct monthly stock-taking and topping up of Meeting Room, Information Counter, as well as First-Aid Kit items and to submit a monthly report to the Visitor Relation Executive (VRE).
vii. Render first-aid assistance to public visitors
viii. Deploy VROs for various miscellaneous tasks (e.g., Safe Distancing duties, temperature screening, putting up physical notices, taping of seats for segregation, shifting of barricades, setting up tents and entry points etc.) when required
ix. Train all VROs in Information Counter duties and to conduct SSG guided tours
x. Manage and issue collaterals such as T-shirts, face masks, name tags etc., to existing and incoming VROs
xi. Collect collaterals such as T-shirts, face masks, name tags etc. from outgoing VROs
xii. Manage digital attendance of all VROs and GMOs
xiii. Attend to members of the public and answer phone calls at the Information Counter
xiv. Coordinate and schedule public tours and school programmes bookings in the system
xv. Carry out general administrative work which includes but is not limited to issuing, collecting and accounting for audio guides, topping-up of brochures on the brochures rack, setting up logistics for guest book signing and rooms for VIP visits
xvi. Record and safekeep all general lost & found items. Record and handover all valuable items such as wallets, mobile phones, laptops etc. to the VRE for safekeeping and follow up actions
xvii. Conduct site recce for indoor rooms if required
xviii. Assign VROs to conduct recce for indoor rooms and inspect pre
- and post-handovers with rooms users
xix. Conduct checks on indiscriminate parking of bicycles at Marina Barrage and to liaise with Facilities team or service providers to dispose bicycles unclaimed for more than 1 month.
xx. Plan and schedule daily roster of VRO and GMO
ix. Assist the Senior Visitor Relationship Officers (SVRO) at the Information Counter when required
x. Prepare and set up the function rooms for meetings and visits (including preparation of the hot and cold drinks)
xi. Be deployed for various miscellaneous tasks (e.g., Safe Distancing duties, temperature screening, putting up physical notices, taping of seats for segregation, shifting of barricades, setting up tents and entry points etc.) when required
Qualifications:
Any Diploma
At least 3 years experience in Tour guiding or Facilitation
Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Shift system
- Weekend availability
