**Get to know the role**:
The Business Performance & Strategy team works on specific strategic projects, as well as drives key planning and organisational milestones. By assessing a broad range of trends and issues that span across markets, customer, competitor, regulatory and technology insights, the team develops winning strategies that will have a significant impact on the progress of the bank.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- You will design and implement a client-centric approach for strategy and performance management at bank, business and geography level.
- You will define and embed financial discipline on pricing and returns to drive sustainable shareholder value across business/geographies and benchmark these internally and externally
- You will drive execution of strategic initiatives & ideas that will grow the business and avail measurable results, working in close partnership with senior stakeholders
- You will lead a project or be team member for specific studies with direct contact with senior executives in the organisation
- Coordinate consolidation requirements to support regional expansion efforts
- You will support due-diligence on M&A/ partnership opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management
- You will develop deep competitor insights that will form critical inputs into broader strategic decision making for the business
**The Must-Haves**
- A degree with good honours from a top tier university
- Highly proficient in quantitative analyses and complex financial modelling - You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data and qualitative insights and can quickly develop a strong narrative that leads to recommendations and builds our understanding of the business
- At least 5-7 years of top tier strategy/ management consulting experience or corporate strategy/ planning experience with deep understanding of products and processes to design unit economics and drive optimization strategy.
- Relevant experience in banking/ financial services preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Creative and comfortable with ‘blank sheet of paper’ assignments, a big-picture thinker who is detail-oriented and problem solver in a complex environment
- Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability, and some experience with operational execution
- A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo
- Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast growing tech company. Should have demonstrated integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
