**The Role**

As an Accountant in this dynamic organisation, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial health and supporting its global operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of financial data and collaborate with both local and international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and completeness
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures
- Collaborate with overseas entities to ensure proper financial reporting and compliance
- Reconcile bank statements and conduct regular account reconciliations
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors when necessary
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Several years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on dealing with overseas entities
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with foreign currency transactions and international accounting practices
- Adaptability to changing business needs and regulatory requirements
