We're looking for a dedicated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for cooking to join our vibrant team as a Chef de Partie (CDP).
**Responsibilities**:
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the preparation of high-quality food. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Section Management:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your designated section.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure high standards of food preparation and safety.
- Quality Control:
- Perform quality checks on dishes before they leave the kitchen.
- Ensure all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared and portioned accurately.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section of the kitchen.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and efficiently, following health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels in your section.
- Communicate any inventory needs or shortages to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Menu Development:
- Assist in the development of new dishes and menu items.
- Provide input and ideas for menu improvements and seasonal offerings.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure efficient operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per month
