Lendingpot is a fast growing FinTech start-up, established in 2017, with the ambitious goal of empowering SMEs by transforming the financing ecosystem in Singapore and other ASEAN countries. Our digital platform enables small business owners to make better business decisions by instantly connecting them with multiple financial institutions for their business loan request.
Lendingpot is seeking a highly energetic and motivated Loan Consultant to be a part of our dynamic sales force where you will provide best-in-class loan advisory to small and medium enterprises in Singapore through technology. You will be working directly with our Business Head to grow our portfolio of SME clients.
The role will be suitable for individuals keen on a career in business banking, enterprise consultancy and technology.
**As Loan Consultant, you will be responsible for**:
- Acquiring and soliciting new business loan opportunities through various sales channels (organic, referrals, networking etc.)
- Developing close relationships with our partner lenders including banks and private funding institutions.
- Providing high level of client service through technology to introduce basic financial products to SME clients. These include unsecured business loans, commercial property loans, trade finance and personal loans.
- Ensuring proper administration, documentation and organisation of sales journey for your portfolio of clients.
**Required**:
- 1-2 years of client facing experience in sales or support roles.
- Basic understanding of business credit underwriting
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams and love working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Performance oriented with a positive attitude
