**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
**Job Purpose**

This role is responsible for providing detailed analysis on data to shape the strategy of the commercial team and hotel teams in the Hub. The position will develop and implement holistic and easy to use dashboards and reporting in Tableau to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Transform, optimise and consolidate datasets (internal and external) from multiple business domains using the Snowflake data warehouse cloud solution and/or Dataiku data analytics platform
- Ensure data is organised and managed to enable ease of access and manipulation of data
- Create and edit intuitive and interactive dashboards in Tableau to simplify business understanding and accelerate decision-making
- Collaborate closely with the SEA, Japan and South Korea BI team to solve complex business problems
- Enable BI team to review performance and make recommendations to the business to optimise revenue and profit
- Contribute to the detection of data quality problems by identifying and resolving the issue at hotel and hub level
- Be the Hub expert in data infrastructure and reporting/analysis tools including Dataiku, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Hotel PMS, InTouch Data, Tableau, TARS, Tinyclues, and others as relevant
- Build and manage work flows utilising business reporting tools and systems - across all tools & systems to meet ad-hoc reporting needs

**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence field
- Advanced user knowledge of Tableau, Dataiku and SQL
- Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools - Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Intermediate knowledge in Machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics
- Basic understanding of developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate ideas and customise to target audience
- Excellent analytical skills with experience of delivering reports and recommended actions
- Exceptional time and project management and the ability to juggle long and short-term deadlines in a dynamic working environment
- Ability to create effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Confident and ambitious with a can-do attitude.
- Experience or exposure to the travel/hotel industry is a plus
