**Role Overview**:
Clinigen is a rapidly growing global specialty pharmaceutical services business with a unique combination of services across the pharmaceutical lifecycle.

The Interim Head of HR - JAPAC will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and leadership to the JAPAC Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the support and success of each business unit needs and future growth demands are met. They will have oversight for the implementation, development, and review of JAPAC HR practices to meet business objectives in line with HR and business strategies, company values, policies and procedures, HR best practices and external legislative requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- As a trusted senior HR leader and own the relationship for allocated Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders
- Ensure Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders are aware of all key people matters for their teams and work in partnership to identify priorities and build into a people plan for their departments.
- Ensure all projects and initiatives that sit within the HR Business Partnering function for the JAPAC region are appropriately resourced and are delivered to the highest of standards to maximize business benefits.
- JAPAC HR budget management and regional oversight, supporting Business Units with their budgets in relation to people overheads.
- Act as an escalation point for senior management and provide commercial HR guidance to senior management, within a complex multi-territory and matrix management structure.
- Act as an escalation point and lead for complex and senior levelrecruitment
- Facilitate regular communication, information sharing and effective working relationships between the JAPAC HR Business Partnering team, HR Operations team and Centres of Excellence to reduce silos and create cohesion at both regional and business unit level.
- Provide regular and relevant management information, reporting and clear communication of progress against projects, highlighting risk and barriers, and providing solutions to ensure programmes keep moving.
- Develop and facilitate key stakeholder communications through working with the Head of Communications, including necessary but sometimes difficult messages, which may impact on ways or working to implement change.
- Be aware of trends and initiatives in the external environment, with a conscious effort to bring these to internal discussion forums and building them into the wider project framework for the group.

**Requirements**:

- Previous international HR experience is essential at a senior level
- Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Previous merger and acquisition experience
- Experience working across all HR disciplines including generalist HR, employee relations, resourcing, performance, and development
- Experience dealing with organizational change management
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication both verbal and written and consultative skills
- Experience of working with people data to inform recommendations to business stakeholders
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- High integrity and ethics
- Exhibits sound judgment, decision making capability and attention to detail while balancing and delivering on a wide range of challenges and tasks
- Results driven and business focused
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in utilizing both Microsoft tools and IT platforms to track projects effectively
