The
- **Corporate Treasurer** is responsible for creating/executing the treasury roadmap and owns the financial risk management framework for Binance. This position will oversee liquidity management, capital structure, banking relationships, FX, and financial risk management. The Corporate Treasurer is responsible for developing treasury policies, procedures, and performance metrics. In addition, this position is responsible for developing the funding plans for new strategic business initiatives, M&A, and joint ventures.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Liquidity Management**:

- Responsible for supervising all activities related to effective cash management of cash, movement of funds
- Manage short
- and long-term investments
- Implement a Treasury Management System (TMS) to monitor and manage the Company’s fiat and crypto balances
- Standardize the cashflow forecasting models and processes
- ** Capital Allocation**:

- Develop a debt financing strategy, including obtaining a credit rating
- Continue expanding the strategic partnership with banking partners and financial institutions
- Monitor and ensure the Company is in compliance with financial covenants
- Work closely with the Clearing team to monitor and manage cost of capital for the Company and each Business Unit
- ** FX**:

- Implement an company-wide FX and hedging program to optimize FX fees
- Form a strong partnership with the Fiat business and support its FX needs
- ** Financial Risk Management**:

- Build and own the credit risk assessment program
- Perform liquidity stress-testing
- Ensure sufficient segregation of duty and effective internal controls are in place
- ** Audit/Regulatory Requirements**:

- Develop a full set of Treasury policies and procedures for Binance and its subsidiaries
- Ensure treasury accounting is properly managed
- Assist with preparing for a financial audit
- Collaborate with regulated entities to comply with capital reserve and reporting requirements

**Qualifications (Must
- have's)**:

- CTP, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CFA preferred
- 10 years of treasury leadership experience
- Experience with regulatory reporting requirements
- Deep knowledge with regards to treasury principles and practices
- Possesses strong leadership, supervisory, and management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and data analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability work with cross functional teams
- Attention to detail and process-oriented
- Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to communicate complex issues, procedures, and rules to various levels of management.

**Qualifications (Nice-to-have's)**:

- Public company experience
- Financial services experience
- Experience working with trading, exchange, or reconciliation of big data/micro payments
- Knowledge with financial instruments and derivatives
