**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Yamal Trade Pte Ltd**, a subsidiary of Yamal LNG Joint Venture, is a company incorporated in Singapore which business is linked to Liquified Natural Gas produced in Yamal Peninsula (Russia).

Yamal Trade is looking for a Treasurer to join its Finance Team. Yamal Trade is holding long term Time Charters to service its pioneering Arctic LNG project. Yamal Trade chartered fleet is composed of a total of 26 LNG carriers and 2 condensate tankers. The position is based in Singapore.

The appointee will join the Team responsible for conducting financial operations supporting Yamal Trade's daily operations.

This is an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, technically innovative environment, and be part of the core commercial shipping team of a large fleet of operated LNG carriers.

**Job Purpose / Mandate**

Maintains and improves company's financial standing, guides financial policy, advises regarding investment opportunities, collaborates with colleagues to determine funding opportunities, assesses and manages financial risks, cash and liquidity.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Ensure accurate and efficient execution of the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function, including: trade financing, loan settlements, FX settlements, forward contracts, deposits, incoming and outgoing remittances, etc.

2. Manage and monitor daily cash flow and maintain cash liquidity for the company.

3. Prepare cashflow forecast report and analysis for the management.

4. Maintain bank credit facilities and banking system.

5. Perform daily bank account reconciliation.

6. Work closely with the Operations Team on the funding requirement and financing of shipments.

7. Liaison with the banks on issues relating to cash management, credit facilities, opening and closing of bank accounts, etc.

8. Enhance and improve processes in the areas of cashflow forecasting, cash concentration, and bank account optimization through ongoing system implementation.

9. Perform and execute tasks and functions as guided by the Company’s Director or Finance Director.

**Skills & Qualifications**

a) Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

b) 5+ years of experience in corporate financial management

c) Proficient with financial software systems

d) Proven working knowledge of banking industry rules and regulations

e) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

f) Excellent communication and presentation skills

g) Strong knowledge of MS Office programs

Yamal Trade Pte Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of JSC Yamal LNG, a Joint Venture between Novatek OAO (50.1%), Total (20%), CNODC (20%) and Silk Road Fund (9.9%). This JV owns and operates a LNG plant of 16.5 Million Tons per annum capacity located at Sabetta, a port on the Yamal Peninsula in West Siberia. Some Stabilised Gas Condensate is also produced.

Yamal Trade is incorparated in Singapore and is responsible for the transportation and marketing of this production to Europe and North East Asia mainly.
