**Boeing Singapore** is currently seeking for a **Regional Security Manager, Asia Pacific** to be based in **Singapore**. This is a Boeing management position for an International Local Hire, reporting to the Director, International Security Activity (ISA). The Regional Manager leads members of the ISA team for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, responsible for the delivery of Boeing’s security and fire protection strategy and best practice across all Boeing’s locations in the region. The incumbent will provide advice and guidance to Boeing’s country, regional and business leadership on all security and safety matters including threat assessment and security risk management, high risk travel and deployment requirements, emergency/incident response and crisis management, as well as support to major events. Key responsibilities would include:
- Management and oversight of compliance, security and safety education, investigations, threat management issues, commercial vendor support, and the development and execution of integrated organizational plans, policies, procedures and strategies.
- Setting operational goals and providing input on business strategies and objectives.
- Overseeing the regional security operating budget and providing coordination and approval for technical products and processes.
- Assigning authority and responsibilities to assigned Security Advisors to execute the workplan.
- Acquiring resources for regional activities, providing technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with site executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, direct reports and host nation agency representatives.
- Coaching, counseling, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities of assigned Security Advisors and providing on-going developmental feedback.
- Promoting employee recognition and building a team culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Enforcing company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, diversity, safety, security and use of company property and time charging.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Related work and managerial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will be advantageous. Military and/or police background is preferred.
- Prior experience of physical security measures including technical security systems, and in monitoring operational risks, incident response, and advisory support would be viewed favorably.
- Strong spoken and written English competency is essential and a working knowledge of Chinese Mandarin or other mainstream regionally relevant language would be preferable.
