**Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the safe and proper demolition and construction methods are being adopted
- To prepare and develop detailed supervision schedule and comprehensive checklist for the conduct of the inspection and supervision by QP(S) and the QSS team, including post-tensioning, pre-stressing, precast concrete and steel structural elements both offsite and on-site (where applicable)
- Supervise every stage of the flyover/viaducts and bridge construction, including inspections and checks for signs of distress to the flyover/viaducts and bridge structure, etc. to achieve full completion of the flyover/viaducts, in a safe manner
- Prepare and develop detailed Safety Inspection schedule and checklist for the construction activities for the bridge construction, including demolition and modification works. This shall also include preparation works, beam launching works, load transfer mechanism, selection and verification of appropriate temporary support system
- Review and check the construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, specific site quality plan and construction sequence for all aspects of the temporary and permanent works of the flyover/viaducts and bridge construction including the design, assembly and operation of the launching equipment, such as gantry, lifting frame for launching of precast elements, post-tensioning works and modification proposals to the design and construction methods and to advise on necessary amendments
- Carry out and follow through the risk identification and risk assessment process for the flyover/viaducts and bridge related works
- Monitor and assess the instrumentation results, and implement/instruct the execution of the various courses of actions when the readings and its trend is deviated from the predicted values
- Monitor and interpret the visual/physical conditions of the flyover/viaducts and bridgework and assess the potential risks and deviations from the design intent and method statements
- To immediately alert the OIC on the potential risks and all deviations with clear assessment of the courses of actions and implementation of the contingency measures
- To give presentations to all LTA staff at regular time periods on the various construction activities, and to assist in the presentations to LTA's Management on flyover/viaducts and bridge construction works
- Prepare report to preserve the knowledge and experience gained from the project, addressing all aspects of the flyover/viaducts and bridge construction and making recommendations for future improvements.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on projects similar in nature to the Works in the Civil Contract and at least five (5) years in the design of geotechnical works for deep excavation projects of a similar size and complexity
- Enthusiastic and willing to work in a team environment
