Job Title: Senior Methods Engineer

As a Senior Methods Engineer, you will be responsible for determining creative and innovative methods and solutions for complex bridge engineering problems.

  • Determine the most efficient and economical manner in meeting project objectives.
  • Apply advanced bridge engineering techniques and analyses.
  • Utilize thorough knowledge of current technology to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects.
  • Perform complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
  • Assume responsibility for the work of the group as a discipline Project Engineer or Discipline Lead on medium to large projects.
  • Commit to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of related work experience.
  • BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software.
  • Strong, self-motivated leader.
  • Complex and diverse problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with different styles of clients and staff.

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent technical skills and can tell us about their Microsoft Office skills, construction experience, 3D modeling expertise, AutoCAD proficiency, civil engineering background, and ability to think creatively.

Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of engineering design, is proficient in CAD, and is familiar with various software applications used in bridge engineering.
