**Role**:
The job scope of the Software Engineer (DevOps) is focused on design, implementation, operation and support of fully automated Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes for Cloud Native Software Development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Writes and maintains pom.xml and build.xml scripts for the automated built.
- Responsible for providing infrastructure support and integrating tools such as Docker Runners, Ansible, GitLab pipelines, Gitlab Issue Tracking, Container Repositoriesetc.
- Responsible for Integration of Unit Tests, Static Code Analysis, and Code Coverage Analysis such as SonarQube, Junit, HP Fortify, BlackDucketc, required in the DevOps pipeline.
- Use Gitlab Pipelines and Dockers for setup of Development and Test Environment used by software developers (The use of Docker Build and Compose is expected).
- Provisioning infrastructure on AWS or Azure Services for software development and testing will part of the work.
- Participate in cross-functional teams, to work with software developers, technical leads, solution architects and project/product managers for continuous discovery, evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methodologies to maximize the efficiency of software development and testing.
- Work includes preparation and maintenance of operational and technical documentations for proof-of-concepts (POCs) - then hand over the POC to professional services team for commercialization and production implementation.

**Job Knowledge/Skills**:

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 2 years working experience in DevOps.
- The following knowledge and experience is mandatory:

- Linux and Windows OS and scripting
- Git and DevOps Pipelines using GitLab or GitHub
- Docker and Containerization
- AWS or Azure Cloud
- JUnit or SonarQube or HP Fortify or BlackDuck
- The following knowledge and experience is an advantage:

- Kubernetes (k8s)
- iOS or Android Mobile App Development
- Java, Node.js, React.js, C#,.NET, ,NET Core
- PKI, Crypto Knowledge, KeyCloak, Hashicorp Vault
- Basic knowledge software architectures, IT trends and emerging technologies
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving attitude
- Good inter-personal skills - ability to build good relationship with colleagues and team mates
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, organized and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work under tight timeline
