**Position Purpose**:
The Junior Software Engineer is responsible for executing full lifecycle software development. Code

produced has to be well-designed, testable and efficient. Being part of the Scrum development team, the Software Engineer must aim to deliver artefacts as defined in the Definition of Done.

- Programming ability in coding, design, testing, system maintenance.
- The ability to code using the framework and languages adopted by the organization for product development.
- Demonstrate critical thinking such as balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
- Analyse requirements and consider various scenarios.
- Exhibits initiative, takes ownership of tasks and follows through to the very end.
- Team player in an agile environment.

**Experience/Knowledge Required**
- 0 to 2 years of experience as a Full-stack developer
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency and experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript and at least one Javascript framework like Vue.js
- Fundamental understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Familiarity with database engine such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git
- Knowledge of MVC and RESTful API architecture
