**Head of Marketing & Communications**

Permanent, Full Time

Location: Singapore

As an ESG focused digital maritime platform, RightShip continues the path towards zero harm in the maritime industry. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Marketing and Communications will develop and execute the marketing strategy for RightShip. As a confident influencer, the incumbent will also be responsible for progressing RightShip's communication strategies, building and maintaining key external and internal strategic relationships, leading marketing verticals and identifying opportunities to improve RightShip's reach in the industry. The Head of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing our positioning and brand strategy for an evolving organisation, raising our brand profile in the maritime industry and contributing to the wider business success. To support RightShip's digital ambitions and propositions, the incumbent would lead digital and product marketing initiatives.

**Major Responsibilities**

**STRATEGY**
- Manage the Marketing team verticals across digital and product marketing, marketing operations and brand & communications. Develop and execute the marketing strategy across customer types and segments globally to align with commercial, return on purpose and company goals.
- Work closely with Product team to develop the new Product Marketing function, including determining the value proposition to the market, establishing customer feedback mechanisms and leveraging on marketing channels to execute a cohesive communications plan. Analyse and scan the competitive landscape to ensure situational awareness in order to correctly position our messages to maintain or raise RightShip's brand profile.
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across multiple channels and platforms, leveraging on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- As part of Corporate Communications, continue to grow our thought leadership position across content including long form white papers, webinars, RightShip hosted leadership forums and events etc. Identify tools, initiatives and partnerships that would scale and enhance RightShip's image.

**LEADERSHIP**
- Embed RightShip's values into everything we do.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement within the Commercial team and with other verticals in RightShip.
- Lead, coach and develop the Marketing and Communications Team.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive workplace, which engages its employees.
- Supervise the day to day operations of the Marketing and Communications team to ensure department goals are met and improve department processes.

**INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS**
- Devise, implement and evaluate internal communication strategies around our work, including investor relations. other relevant issues
- Lead on all aspects of internal LT reputation management and perception
- Ensure alignment with internal communications activity and strategy
- Play a lead role in the internal marketing of products with the product team

**RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS**
- Interact with current and prospective consumers to relay the product's value and benefits while gathering direct feedback
- Working with the product team to conduct in person interviews and large scale surveys with customers and researchers
- Conduct various pulse and annual surveys as part of an overall brand awareness exercise, including but not limited to perception, share of voice, net promoter scores etc.
