**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The role of Client services manager will be to support the Institutional and Intermediary sales teams across International distribution and to be responsible for the coordination, production and delivery of the following:
1. Client Take on, transition & termination
2. Delivery of Investment Solutions
3. Client Reporting Governance
4. Maintenance and update of Legal documents
5. Client Queries and meetings
6. Others
The Client Service Manager will work closely and coordinate with internal stakeholders in the delivery of client related services and queries.
**Client Take On, Transition & Termination**
- Prepare documentation for Product Approval Committee - PAC
- Co-ordinate the Review of Investment Management agreements / distribution agreements / rebate letters including negotiating the T&C, amongst all the internal stakeholders.
- Co-ordinating with Transition Management team to ensure smooth onboarding, transition or termination requests.
- Perform the necessary AML/KYC screening for client onboarding & ongoing client due diligence.
**Delivery of Investment Solution**
- Work with the internal stakeholders to deliver investment solutions to Clients.
**Client Reporting Governance**
- Monitor and track the delivery of client reports as per agreed schedule with clients.
- Assist with client’s adhoc and regular due diligence requests.
- Understand client’s requirements for new / changes in reports and discuss / work with internal stakeholders to identify and implement a solution.
**Legal Documentation**
- Responsible to maintain and update the legal agreements with Institutional & Intermediary clients
- Liaise directly with clients to update/amend legal documentation (e.g. Distribution Agreements, Investment Management Agreements, Fee letters, Operating Memorandum, Service Level Agreements, etc)
**Client Queries and meetings**
Manage client queries related but not limited to:
- Explanation of portfolio performance
- Changes to investment guidelines
- Portfolio breaches
- Trade-related activities
- Documentation
- Benchmarks
- Management / Performance Fees
- Regulatory e.g. MIFID, FATCA
- Plan and prepare for regular client meetings
**Others**
- Participate in projects / initiatives.
- Establish / Maintain procedure manuals / policies Review fund documentation where necessary
**EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, in supporting an institutional and intermediary client services role, either at an asset manager or a top tier bank
- Good knowledge of the asset management industry and the operating business model of an asset manager highly desirable
- CMFAS license
- Deep understanding of financial products and funds management industry
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong business level communication skills both written and verbal including report writing skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Confident in making decisions autonomously and taking initiative
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Proven track record for delivering results as part of a dynamic team structure
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Accuracy and attention to detail including delivering reports and documentation to a very high standard
- At ease to interact with external and internal stakeholders, including senior management, consultants, service providers, investment and sales teams, in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong team player, but needs to be able to work autonomously on projects and deliverables around and of varying seniority
- Be independent and resourceful in other words, a self-starter
