Senior Officer, Bullion Management

**About the Department**:
The **Global Market** function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients’ investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

**Responsibilities**:
**The roles of the bullion operations officer include the following**:
**Counter Services**
- Engage customer experience with quality service provided.
- Manage customer enquiries effectively on the purchase and sale of gold products.
- Perform customer service over the purchase and sale of gold products.
- Perform due diligence on customer surveillance and AML checks efficiently.
- Process system updates for customers purchase and sale of gold products.

**Vault Control**
- Perform vault controller / custodian duties as a key holder.
- Manage the vault inventory according to stipulated guidelines.
- Perform reconciliation of physical stock inventory.
- Issue to and receive gold from security transport companies.
- Issue to and receive gold from PIB customers.

**Shipment / logistic**
- Liaise with GM Commodities desk and security transport companies on shipment logistics, dates, quantity, flight, pick up, delivery, etc.
- Check and negotiate shipment quotations with security transport companies
- Manage the documentation required for the logistics.
- Track complete lifecycle of the logistics movement.
- Ensure Contract and insurance with logistics company is still in-force and valid.
- Liaise with GMOC on settlement once shipment completed.
- Raise and submit payment on PEMS to security transport companies.

**Reports**
- Prepare daily / monthly statistical and stock summary.
- Prepare monthly inventory report for submission and review.
- Prepare daily / monthly Anti Money Laundering reports.
- Prepare escalation reports.

**Ad-hoc Duties**
- Prepare ad-hoc statistics for GM Commodities desk.
- Document management / archival, sending to storage.
- Participate in System testing e.g. Upgrades, updates, enhancements, BCP, etc.
- Participate in BCP exercises.

**Job Requirements**:

- Strong physical attributes / fitness as there will be a lot of lifting / moving of precious metals.
- Diploma holder / Degree holder.
- At least 3 years of experience in operations / bank branches / relationship managers.
- Good track record of strong customer management / relations.
- Able to work well independently as well as in a team setting.
- Possess good leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
- Must be highly driven, show strong initiative, and can work under pressure.
- High levels of competency working with tools like MS Excel / MS Power BI.
- Good levels of familiarity with MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Strong ability to fluently converse and writing, additional languages will be a bonus.
