**The team**
Our Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements.

**This position**

This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone prospecting new clients. Market Development Reps will receive hands on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.

This position reports to the Manager, Market Development Representatives

**Responsibilities**
- Make outbound calls to prospects who reside in one of DocuSign's core vertical markets, offering tailored solutions to solve/improve business process problems.
- Schedule appointments between prospects and our Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise verticals.
- Strategic use of CRM to record information and identify further opportunities in your assigned territory.

**Basic Qualifications**
- A university degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 2 years outbound sales experience

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience in the SaaS industry
- A driven, enthusiastic, and hard-working nature
- The ability to form strong business relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
