The Registries of Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties (PDPVP) supports IPOS’ vision by building and maintaining a top-ranked IP regime in the world. We have set our ambition to be a Regime of the Future that is a showcase of IP regime and administration excellence with our IP, digital and data analytics expertise. We are looking for an individual who is keen to be a key contributor to achieving our ambition to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:
You will
- Formulate and implement sound policies and programmes, backed by robust research and data analysis, for a Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties Protection regime that is progressive and meets the needs of innovators in Singapore and innovators having a market interest in Singapore.
- Plan and conduct regular engagements with key stakeholder, including government agencies and industry players to strengthen partnership and trust while gaining insights to improve our policies and programmes.
- Strategise and advance Singapore’s policy positions at ASEAN and international meetings (for instance, at the World IP Organization).

**Write to us if you have/are**:

- A degree.
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in policy or legislative work.
- The ability to make evidence-based recommendations to bring about best policy outcomes.
- The aptitude to analyse complex issues at the systems level, yet critical and meticulous in the execution of deliverables.
- The ability to write and communicate clearly, concisely, and logically.
- The ability to engage stakeholders to build partnership and trust, and translate insights from stakeholders engagements to improve policies and programme.
- Able to work well independently and within a team.
- Good to have the background in intellectual property, especially in the area of Patents and Design.
