We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Business Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Business management manager will participate in business activities, supporting Senior Business Manager with BAU & non-BAU activities, and cyclical work pieces such as Annual Reporting tactical initiatives and risk and control management
- Assist with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area
- Participate and support in business planning activities which will include financial and resource planning
- Identifying, assessing, and overseeing the risk and control environment
- Managing and supporting internal and external audit requirements for Global Platforms
- Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums, and stakeholder feedback
- Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities
- Deliver continuous transformation deliverables like cost modelling, org charts, workforce planning execution and communications
- Prepare timely and accurate management reports. Support ad hoc tasks and presentation preparation

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- University degree, preferably in business management, finance, or other relevant qualifications
- Good understanding of risk and controls
- Knowledge and experience within communication / PR / copywriting
- Excellent communication skills in English - written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and SharePoint
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Event management experience
- Strong relationship management, executive stakeholder engagement and networking skills for internal and external engagement
- Cultural appreciation of the needs of difference audiences in different markets
- Able to problem solve and present compelling solutions
- Ability to work on multiple, complex programs and initiatives simultaneously
- Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
- Understanding of HSBC’s people policies and approach, including around development, D&I, talent management and recognitions
