**CREDIT & COLLECTIONS EXECUTIVE
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Job Scope:
Reporting to the Head of Collections, this role will oversee the Credit & Collections Department for the day to-day activities:
- Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Work with operations team to manage accounts
- Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
- Handle questions or complaints
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
- Update account status and database regularly
- Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Job requirement:
- Self-motivated with a task and service-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, organizing, problem solving and people management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications/ Outlook and IT Savvy
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
The Company may assign duties in addition to those listed/described above and/or vary the scope of work according to business requirements.
