Apac Senior Digital Product Manager, Ocean Freight

**Alongside one of the world's largest logistics companies, BCG Digital Ventures is **building an Ocean Freight Venture **to empower freight forwarders to grow their business globally. Our digital platform will empower them to:

- Access freight capacity on a large & reliable logistics network
- Unlock advantageous freight rates & guaranteed space only available to large forwarders & customers
- Increase efficiency across operations including quoting, booking, documentation, tracking & more

This venture is backed by a large global logistics company renowned in driving innovation within the industry and with its unique strategic advantage, the venture is well-positioned to fully disrupt the industry. **We are looking for an APAC Senior Digital Product Manager** who will report directly to the global technology leader and regional leadership team. **This role can be located in either Singapore, China or Hong Kong.**

**In this role, you will**:
**Launch and establish a new digital product for one of the world’s largest logistics companies**
- Play a critical role as the founding member of this business unit
- Define and execute the digital product roadmap in the region, with ambition to expand globally
- Take ownership of the product vision, strategy and success metrics

**Work in a multi-disciplinary environment to drive launch and scale-up of product**
- Identify and solve existing pain points by digesting product analytics data, driving conversations with customers & stakeholders, working alongside engineering and operations teams
- Work with the UX team to gain an understanding of user personas, pain points and user journeys and support design of digital features
- Co-create with the engineering team to craft and deliver the best product to our customers
- Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytic tools, A/B testing, stakeholder interviews
- Work across teams to scope, design, concept test and deliver feature solutions aligned to business goals

**Develop and adopt the best practices for the product management function**
- Set up and constantly improve on the processes and policies within product management function
- Maintain a library of product management materials with constant iteration to adopt the best practices

**To be successful, you should have**:

- At least 6 years of relevant experience with strong understanding of contemporary digital product development platforms and technologies
- Experience launching multiple digital products successfully and bringing them to scale
- A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
- A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
- The ability to manage time and schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
