**Role Summary**:
You are responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) hardware to improve product quality and drive yield improvements at VSMC, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with AMHS equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
- Manage the installation and coordination of Overhead Hoist Transfer (OHT), Overhead Hoist Buffer (OHB), Stocker, Embedded sorter and Bare wafer stocker(BWS) systems.
- Develop and document SOPs (standard operating procedures) for AMHS operations, ensuring consistent and efficient processes.
- Coordinate equipment and material evaluations/optimizations to implement process improvements, leading yield enhancement and cost optimization efforts.
- Qualify new equipment and manage, audit, and collaborate with equipment suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation goals.

**Education Qualification & Essential Experiences**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with PM (preventive maintenance) processes for AMHS devices such as OHT (Overhead Hoist Transfers), OHB (Overhead Hoist Buffers), and Stockers.
- Experience with automation machines from Daifuku and Muratec.
