**General**:
We are a start-up semiconductor equipment company with headquarter in Singapore, looking for experienced and versatile System (Controlling) Engineers/Automation Engineer in Taiwan and Singapore. This person will be able to design and test automation systems for new semiconductor manufacturing equipment. At this role, you will partner with other hardware engineers in equipment system design and system validation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop equipment automation/machine controlling system for our process equipment, strong understanding of **PLC/C/C++ **and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, **EtherCAT, SECS/GEM **), responsible for both equipment layer controlling and software integration.
- Troubleshoot on any system integrating, controlling or automation issues.
- Cooperate with other engineers to complete equipment automation and integrate hardware with software.
- Service, training, troubleshooting on customer sites if any. Assists with product presentations and sales efforts as needed.

**Job Qualifications**:

- BE is minimum, Master is preferred, in Electrical engineering/System Controlling engineering related field of study.
- 3 years of direct experience in Electrical/equipment system controlling is preferred.
- **Understanding the underlying principles FEOL processes is crucial.**:

- A broad knowledge of sensors, actuators, vacuum technology and gas valves is a plus.
- **Design and develop the electrical circuits and control systems that power the robotic arms, motors, and other mechanisms, ensuring smooth, precise, and reliable movement while adhering to safety standards.**:

- **Design and develop software to communicate with the equipment interface with appropriate communication protocols, ensuring standard data format and real-time message exchange.**:

- Ensure seamless integration of the electrical system with sensors and software that monitor and control the transfer process, providing real-time feedback and process optimization.
- Analyzing the sensitivity of device characteristics to adjust variations in process parameters, developing corrective measures to improve yield and product uniformity.
- Ability to navigate a dynamic and at times ambiguous environment that requires frequent multitasking, prioritization, and a proactive mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of internal partners, team members, and suppliers.
- Self-starting individual, with ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Proven relationship management skills, including navigating the organization and influencing decisions.
