Automation Engineer Job Description

As an automation engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of production. With our company's commitment to innovation, we are looking for talented individuals who can leverage their expertise to drive efficiency and productivity.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead new technology transfer, setup, maintenance, quality and productivity improvements to ensure production runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include managing Automatic Material Handling systems, Sorters, and FOUP performance metrics, as well as collaborating with various teams to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a self-driven approach to innovative solutions. Prior experience in IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting is an added advantage. Those with AMHS hardware commissioning and maintenance experience may be considered for senior positions.

  • Troubleshooting - Identifying and resolving technical issues to maintain smooth production
  • Hardware - Designing, developing, and implementing automation systems

  • Throughput - Optimizing production capacity to meet demand
  • PLC - Programming and configuring Programmable Logic Controllers

  • Production Line - Implementing automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  • Windows - Setting up and maintaining Windows-based IPCs
  • Semiconductors - Developing automation systems for semiconductor production
  • Manufacturing - Streamlining production processes to improve quality and yield
